FOX的《24小时》重启剧集《24小时：遗产》由Howard Gordon、Manny Coto及Evan Katz执行制片，Corey Hawkins饰演男主角Eric Carter， 新角色Eric Carter背景为一个军队英雄回到美国后，麻烦跟随他来到美国，因此令他找上CTU的协助，并且阻止可能是美国本土最大型的恐怖袭击。Eric Carter过去十分粗暴，不过后来加入了陆军游骑兵，在剧中回到弗吉尼亚州找妻子Nicole，但一回到本土就遇上麻烦。《24小时：遗产》缘用该剧的一集为「真实一小时」的制式。。Shot on the Great Barrier Reef and in the Bahamas, the main themes of "Ocean Wonderland" are the incredible diversity of the marine life on the reefs as well as the amazing beauty of the many varieties of coral thriving there。
