On the way out of town, Richard pounds a road beer or three, sparks a joint, and begins to question why young Nathan is l...。抗日战争时期，华北某地。抗战进行到第六个年头，日寇由于参加太平洋战争，物资供应严重不足。今年夏天，康庄小麦获得丰收，敌据点鬼子小队长清水又打上了算盘，他派汉奸四和尚到村里索要军粮。而驻地伪军也打发人到村里要麦子，他们因抢粮发生殴打，村长假意安抚，实则制造敌人之间的矛盾。他暗中号召广大群众坚壁夏粮，又派人和根据地取得联系，八路军王团长要求他利用鬼子和伪军之间的矛盾，挑起敌人内部冲突。一天，清水亲自进村征粮，村长设巧计应付，毫无破绽。最后，他们利用声东击西、虚张声势之计，保护粮食运往根据地……。
