《シークレット部隊》（秘密部队）是大映电视剧公司（以下简称大映TV，原是大映公司下的子部门，1971年年底总公司因经营不善而倒闭后独立）在《ザ·ガードマン》结束后于1972年推出的26集刑侦电视连续剧，以私立侦探社调查保险欺诈案件为中心展开，基本继承了《ザ·ガードマン》的演员阵容和大致风格，播出时间也和前作相同。不久，从1973年开始，大映TV将过去以动作、惊险片为主旋律的节目路线，变更为以家庭为背景的社会型电视剧，随后便诞生了著名的“赤色系列”（80年代早期响誉中国的《血疑》便是该系列中的第二作），所以《シークレット部隊》仅仅是在这段“转形期”内发挥了缓冲剧组的作用，短短的半年播放也没有给观众留下很深的印象，所以在随后到来的日本刑侦剧“黄金时期”的冲击下，该作现在几乎已被日本大众所遗忘。 不过，可能是因为宇津井健在《血疑》中扮演的“模范父亲”大岛茂...。An altruistic department-store owner hires ex-convicts in order to give them a second chance at life.
