A reclusive scientist builds a robot that looks exactly like him to go on a long-term space mission. Since the scientist seems to lack all emotions, he is unable to program them into his automaton, and an eccentric woman is hired to "educate" the robot on human behavior. In the end, she falls in love... but is the robot or the Dr. Mr. Right?。本次大赛由中央电视台主办，中国曲协协办，北京市公证处公证，是新世纪第二次全国性的相声赛事。大赛经过了征集、初评、复赛等阶段。经过复赛评委会的认真评审，最后，一批质量较高的节目和颇有实力的选手闯入决赛，并继续激烈角逐，最终将决出一等奖1名、二等奖3名、三等奖5名、最佳逗哏奖1名、最佳捧哏奖1名、最佳作品奖1个，优秀作品奖若干。。
