在1938年徐州会战后期，地下党员欧阳山川在沽宁港发现日军的奇袭计划，但无力阻止，导致沽宁被占领。在身份特殊的城市无产者四道风的带领下，欧阳山川组建抗日组织“四道风”。在抗战期间，守备军司令的副官龙文章也加入到“四道风”组织中。1941年太平洋战争爆发期间，“四道风”承担重任，将原子物理学家何莫修护送上美军的接应船只。何莫修经历战斗后，选择成为“四道风”的一员。从此，一支民间抗战的大旗在沽宁树立起来，对日军发起了一轮轮惊心动魄的攻击，“四道风”组织的成员们也在沽宁奉献了他们最美的青春。。White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。
