清朝光绪年问，大清帝国自甲午海战后内忧外患，一片风雨飘摇。驻守边疆的总兵玉瑞（陈长海饰）力举拳民抗洋，希望成就一番大事业。爱女玉娇龙（蒋勤勤饰）身怀绝技，武功超群。她不顾父亲订下的婚配，力推爱人罗小虎（何润东饰）加入拳民，两人随之入京，欲建国立业大展拳脚。侠女俞秀莲（黄奕饰）为寻未婚夫孟思昭（童安格饰）也来到了京城，她更要找出杀父仇人何氏夫妇。青年侠客李慕白（邱心志饰）亦因追俞秀莲而至。孟思昭筹划策反小虎与拳民，共谋“反清复明”大业，并诚邀李慕白入盟。李慕白不计前嫌，助孟思昭与秀莲诛灭何氏夫妇，更助玉瑞说动朝廷决意抗洋。。The film accompanies Magaye Niyang, a star of Touki-Bouki, a 1972 classic directed by her own uncle Djibril Diop. Following this path, we are witness of Niyang travel to a special screening of the film, which has a public release in his old town.
