Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。Andrea "Andi" Carson (Alana Austin) is an average teenage girl. She's a cheerleader, she owns pillows shaped like flowers, paints her nails, and, oh, yeah, she can Motocross like nobody's business. But what strikes me about this movie is not its plot (girl dresses like guy, big dramatic moment as the world finds out she tricked them all, then she gets the guy) but it's hidden m...。
