清道光年间，刚刚登基的道光帝旻宁（陈锦鸿 饰）即将册封沅宛（胡杏儿 饰）为皇后。封后大典当天，太后（黄淑仪 饰）却令穆亲王福晋伊兰（宣萱 饰）为夫殉葬。穆亲王绵怡在平定西北叛乱时失踪，生死不明，太后认定伊兰为不祥之女。旻宁对伊兰早已有情，得知伊兰遭难，旻宁竟然抛下沅宛救回伊兰性命，并做出令朝野皆惊的决定：纳伊兰为妃。原本对伊兰并无敌意的沅宛，因为在封后大典上颜面扫地而对伊兰怀恨在心，旻宁纳伊兰为妃更是令其深受刺激。在母亲的教唆下，沅宛决心铲除伊兰以及一切威胁自己后位之人，伊兰原本无心相争，却一次次被卷入宫斗波澜，一场清宫女人的命运纠葛大戏就此上演。究竟谁能在后宫斗争中脱颖而出，最终登上权力颠峰成为“万凰之王”？ 本剧是2011年香港无线电视台（TVB）44周年台庆剧。。¿How far does a soccer fan go for his beloved national team?
