"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。憨厚朴实的山里娃铁头（来喜饰），由于没钱娶心上人进城去找表哥杨伟（于非饰）讨债的过程中结识了在城里开赌场的海哥（刘桦饰），并发生了一系列令人捧腹的故事……。本来只存于游戏世界的妖魔突然在现实世界降临，资深玩家顾青山与最终 boss 同归于尽后，穿越回到末日尚未开始之时，利用战神系统与各种末日灾难、妖魔、邪恶势力展开激烈战斗的故事。
